The heads and representatives of 60 Deposit Insurers, members of the International Association of Deposit Insurers (IADI), participated in the Summit Conference. Ms.Bakhyt Mazhenova, the Chairperson of the Kazakhstan Deposit Insurance Fund, made a presentation on Implications of crisis on Kazakhstani DI.

In addition, PDIC also held the Claims Management and Payout Seminar. At the conclusion of the Summit Conference a Communique on future directions in strengthening agencies was signed.
