17 april As of March 31, 2012 the liquidation commission of Valut-Tranzit Bank JSC has satisfied the KDIF’s claims on reimbursing the amounts of deposit coverage paid out to the depositors by 40,96% or 5,805 billion tenge.

As of January 1, 2012 the liquidation commission of Valut-Tranzit Bank has satisfied the KDIF’s claims on reimbursing the amounts of insurance coverage paid out to the depositors by 35,92% (or 5,09 billion tenge)


 
18 august As of August 1, 2011 the liquidation commission of Valut-Tranzit Bank has satisfied the KDIF’s claims on reimbursing the amounts of insurance coverage paid out to the depositors by 34,34% (or 4,87 billion tenge)
18 august The license of “TAIB Kazakh Bank” JSC for conducting banking and other operations in national and foreign currencies in terms of accepting and opening individuals’ bank accounts was suspended for the period of 3 months by the decree of the National Bank’s Administration №93 as of July 22, 201.1 In addition, the license of “SENIM-BANK” JSC for conducting banking and other operations and activities on the equity market in terms of accepting and opening individuals’ bank accounts was also suspended for the period of 3 months by the decree of the National Bank’s Administration №92 as of July 22, 2011. These suspensions resulted from both banks’ non-compliance with prudential requirements set by the Law “On Banks and Banking Activity in the Republic of Kazakhstan”.
3 august As the Governor of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan Grigoriy Marchenko recently reported, a draft law will be soon be prepared introducing relevant amendments to the legislation of RK including the Law “On Mandatory Insurance of Deposits Placed in the Second-Tier Banks of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, by preserving the current deposit coverage limit for individuals’ deposits in the amount of five million tenge for the period after January 1, 2012. “Astana Finance” Bank JSC was deprived of the license for conducting banking and other operations in terms of accepting, opening and maintaining individuals’ bank accounts by the decree of the National Bank’s Administration №79 as of July 1, 2011 due to non-compliance with prudential requirements set by the Law “On Banks and Banking Activity in the Republic of Kazakhstan”.

 
1 july As of July 1, 2011 the liquidation commission of Valut-Tranzit Bank has satisfied the KDIF’s claims on reimbursing the amounts of insurance coverage paid out to the depositors by 34,03% (or 4.822 bln. tenge), while the liquidation commission of Nauryz Bank Kazakhstan has satisfied the KDIF’s similar claims by 88% (or 679.4 mln. tenge ).
3 june As of June 1, 2011 the liquidation commission of Valut-Tranzit Bank has satisfied the KDIF’s claims on reimbursing the amounts of insurance coverage paid out to the depositors by 33,67% (or 4, 772 bln. tenge), while the liquidation commission of Nauryz Bank Kazakhstan has satisfied the KDIF’s similar claims by 88% (or 679,4 mln. tenge )
